4:52:imperfection

We bought our house almost 3 years ago now. Buying our first home was a lot more stressful than I ever thought it was going to be. We had to look at what we needed at that time - and what we thought we would need in the future.
The home we purchased had sat vacant for 2 years or so. And surprisingly - it was not in terrible condition. In fact it was in really good condition - with a few exceptions. I spent almost a month painting the house since almost every room was white. We tore out flooring that was lifting, put up mirrors in the bathroom that were missing - and a bunch of other little things.
Now having lived here - we have filled our house with love. The first year I think my husband and I both were looking for the next project to complete. Now we are able to sit back and just enjoy everything we have done and not worry so much if something is not fixed (that we are able to live with of course).
Our home isn't perfect as you can see by the wall in the photo but it is filled with perfection because it is filled with love.
